The Caledonia Fire District serves the residents of the Town and Village of Caledonia with dedicated fire protection and emergency services. While the Town of Caledonia collects fire district taxes on behalf of the District, the Fire District is an independent entity. The Town does not oversee or participate in the Fire District’s daily operations, staffing, or preparation of its budget.
As a public body, the Fire District is required to provide public access to legal notices, annual budgets, and other official postings. In keeping with this requirement, these notices are posted both at the Caledonia Town Hall and here on the Town website, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all residents.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF
CALEDONIA FIRE DISTRICT
ON DECEMBER 9, 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Caledonia Fire District will take place on December 9, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Caledonia Fire House, located at 3089 Main Street for electing one Commissioner for a 5-year term, commencing January 1, 2026, and ending on December 31, 2030 and one commissioner for a 3-year term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2028.
All voters registered with the Livingston County Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2025, shall be eligible to vote.
Candidates for District Office who request their name be included on the ballot shall provide a letter of intent to the Secretary of the Caledonia Fire District, Susan J. Carson at P.O. Box 149, Caledonia no later than twenty days before the election, November 19, 2025.
