Proper identification (driver’s license or non-driver’s ID) must be submitted and the person signing must be present. This service is free.

To have a document notarized, you must present the notary with your identification and fill out the notary log book. You must not sign your document prior to visiting the notary.

If our notary is unavailable, you may go to the Village of Caledonia to have a document notarized. Additionally, Tompkins Community Bank has a notary and is free to members of the bank.
In New York State, a Notary Public may charge $2.00 for Notary Services, however, this is a free service for Caledonia residents. Out of town residents may be charged.
