Dan Pangrazio serves as the Town Supervisor of Caledonia, acting as the chief executive officer of the Town—a role similar to that of a city mayor. As an elected official, the Town Supervisor presides over the Town Board, a legislative body made up of four councilpersons and the Supervisor. Together, they are responsible for adopting the annual budget and overseeing all legislative actions that guide Caledonia’s local government.
In his role, Dan is tasked with preparing and recommending the annual budget, providing reports and materials for Town Board consideration, and suggesting updates to the Town Code and local ordinances when necessary. He also oversees the day-to-day operations of the Town government and remains accessible to residents to discuss matters of interest and community concern.
At the county level, Dan currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Livingston County Board of Supervisors, where he plays an integral role in shaping countywide initiatives. He is also the Chairman of the Livingston County Land Bank, Chairman of G.L.O.W., and the former Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee for Livingston County.
Beyond his governmental duties, Dan is deeply involved in community service. He is an active member of the Caledonia-Mumford Lions Club and has been honored with several prestigious awards for his dedication and humanitarian efforts. He is the recipient of the Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award, recognizing his outstanding service to the Caledonia-Mumford Lions Club and the Caledonia community. He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow, a distinguished recognition for his commitment to humanitarian service.
In 2016, Dan was named the Livingston County Chamber’s Distinguished Leader, a testament to his ongoing leadership and commitment to improving the quality of life for the residents of Caledonia and Livingston County.
