PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE IS HERE BY GIVEN, that the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Caledonia, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, 3109 Main Street, Caledonia, NY, to consider the application by Agnieszka Bajan for their property located at address 3483 Caledonia Avon Rd, Caledonia, NY 14423, Tax Map # 13.-1-51.122 located in the Town of Caledonia, New York 14423 in a R-R Agricultural and Rural Residence District. The applicant is requesting an Area Variance to subdivide their property which would not meet the minimum size requirements of 80,000 square feet and 200 feet of road frontage, compliance with regulations of the Code of the Town of Caledonia Chapter 130 Zoning Article IV § Section 113-27. Said Board of Appeals will at said time and place hear all persons in support of such matter and objections thereto.

NOTICE CONCERNING THE EXAMINATION OF ASSESSMENT INVENTORY AND VALUATION DATA
(Pursuant to Section 501 of the Real Property Tax Law)
Notice is hereby given by the Assessor for the Town of Caledonia that the assessment inventory and valuation data is available for examination and review. This data is the information which will be used to establish the assessment of each parcel, which will appear on the Tentative Assessment Roll of 2025, which will be filed on or before May 1, 2025. The information may be reviewed, by appointment, in the Assessor’s office at the Caledonia Town Hall, 3109 Main St, Caledonia, NY on Thursdays between the hours of 10:00 and 3:00 (closed from 12-1); Thursday, March 20 from 4:00-6:30 pm. An appointment to review the assessment information should be made by telephoning the Assessor at 585-538- 4927 at least 24 hours in advance.

NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to General Municipal Law §6-c and Town Law §220, on February 13, 2025. the Town Board of the Town of Caledonia (the “Town”) adopted a Resolution approving the expenditure of up to $84,932.07, after qa $61,000 trade in of two tractors, from the TOWN OF CALEDONIA EQUIPMENT Capital Reserve Fund account to purchase a 2025 John Deere 6M105 tractor. That Resolution was adopted subject to a permissive referendum, so that on or before January 13, 2025, a petition signed, and acknowledged or proved, or authenticated by electors of the Town qualified to vote upon a proposition to raise and expand money, in number equal to at least five per centum of the total vote cast for governor in the Town in 2022, but which shall not be less than 25, protesting against the Resolution and requesting that it be submitted to the qualified electors of the Town for their approval or disapproval.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – PROPOSED LOCAL LAW NO. 1 FOR 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 13, 2025, there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Caledonia New York, proposed Local Law No. 1 for 2025. A Local Law to Amend and Restate Chapter 106 of the Code of the Town of Caledonia to Add Additional Regulations for Solar Energy Systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems and Repeal Moratorium on Major/Medium Solar Energy Systems. The purpose of this Local Law is to update the Town’s regulations for solar energy systems and battery energy systems to incorporate experience from the five permitted solar energy systems current in the Town and recent guidance from NYSERDA, Livingston County Planning, and the NYS Inter-Agency Fire Safety Working Group for battery energy storage systems.
THEREFORE, pursuant to statute the Town Board will hold a public hearing on said Local Law at 7:10 P.M. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Caledonia Town Hall, 3109 Main Street, Caledonia, Livingston County New York, at which time and place all persons interested will be heard. A copy of the proposed Local Law is on file for public review at the Town Office of the Town of Caledonia during normal business hours.

NOTICE OF 2025 TAX COLLECTION
TAKE NOTICE, that I, Seth Graham, Tax Collector of the Town of Caledonia, Livingston County, New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Caledonia for the year 2025 in the amount of $4,199,849.98. Collection of taxes begins on Thursday, January 2, 2025, through Monday, March 31, 2025.
Payments may be made in person, in our drop box or by mail at the Town Office, 3109 Main Street, in the said Town of Caledonia, each day from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. excepting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, for the purpose of collecting taxes listed on the said roll. Checks may be made payable to Seth Graham, Tax Collector, 3109 Main Street, Caledonia, NY 14423. Payment also may be made online at www.townofcaledoniany.org (fees apply).
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2025, without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1 per centum for February and 2 per centum for March plus a $2.00 mailing fee for second notification.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law, the unpaid taxes of the Town of Caledonia will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Livingston on the 2nd day of April 2025.

LEGAL NOTICE ANNUAL ELECTION OF CALEDONIA FIRE DISTRICT ON DECEMBER 10, 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Caledonia Fire District will take place on December 10, 2024, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Caledonia Fire House, located at 3089 Main Street for electing one Commissioner for a 5-year term, commencing January 1, 2025, and ending on December 31, 2029 and one Commissioner for a three year term, commencing January 1, 2025 and ending on December 31, 2027.
All voters registered with the Livingston County Board of Elections on or before November 18, 2024, shall be eligible to vote.
Candidates for District Office who request their name be included on the ballot shall provide a letter of intent to the Secretary of the Caledonia Fire District, Susan J. Carson at P.O. Box 149, Caledonia no later than twenty days before the election, November 20, 2024.
